I’m a chiropractor, husband, and father of 3 kids and I know exercise is one of the most important parts of being healthy. Let me explain.

I started this with a middle-of-the-night revelation that…


Gyms aren’t natural. Now, I am mostly talking about MACHINE based gyms. If there are some free weights there, it has some potential. Gyms have a fatal flaw in total overall fitness. Yes, I know, hard to believe.

Machines…


Only work your muscles in one plane of motion.


They support you while you lift, so only the big muscles get strong.


Therefore, you are more prone to injury.


They make lifting easier.


The real world has ups, downs, and all arounds. You bend, twist, reach, jump, run, walk, or lift.


So let’s train that way.


This is why our AREA365 fitness program is so great. We use real world motions that aren’t restricted by a machine.





For this functional workout program, there are two objectives.

Maximum strength to look good and have the horsepower to back up your good looks.

Excellent endurance … to have staying power, to work or play harder.


This program will make you stronger and leaner without being bulky. Bulk weighs you down, and unless you are going into football, bodybuilding or wrestling, it isn’t worth the time or effort. For 99% of us, being huge will be a significant disadvantage, but at the same time, 99% of us could be stronger than we are right now and feel better and enjoy more in life. If you want to be big and bulky, this is the wrong program.


So, what are you going to be doing?


You are going to focus on working out in your house. This will keep things simple and easy. Plus, you don’t have to waste time and gas driving to the gym.


You will start by learning to use your body as your weight. I have a 170 lbs. at my disposal. I’m sure you have enough to get started.


Learning different exercises every few days with videos and pictures. This will make learning easier and faster. Plus, there is an online archive of all the videos and pictures in case you forget.


After a month, you will start to learn to use a kettlebell. (This is a simple weight that looks like a cannonball with a handle on it.) It will add even more variety.





Every few days you will get an email from me with today’s workout, instructions, modifications, safety tips, dietary advice, and videos on how to do each new exercise. Plus, there is a section for comments and questions. As a busy family man and doctor myself, I will give you an effective workout that will make you feel better when you are done, all in 15-20 minutes. Variety is the spice of life, and I will keep you on your toes and push you to do more.
